Radoil CD-TC Accumulators provide the combined benefit of
constant differential operation with the ability to heat the nitrogen precharge
gas during critical operations. Normal deep-sea ambient temperatures of 34° F.
can drop as low at -150°F during rapid discharge operations, with associated
loss of pressure and capacity. The CD-TC Accumulator can increase the nitrogen
temperature of the nitrogen to as much as +300°F, thereby increasing the
pressure as much as 50%. This can provide the highest pressure – at the end of
the stroke when it is needed.
