As seen in the graphic, the red liner is
expanded below the blue casing string and is completely hidden or “invisible”
with respect to the vertical bore. The inner profile shown is the shape of the
liner as it is rolled at the factory to allow running within the casing. The
profile allows the liner to be stripped into the well with a special set of BOP
Rams.
