Invisible Monobore Liner

Radoil’s Invisible MonoBore Liner can be run and set into a wellbore to isolate an unexpected pressure formation, or replace and/or repair a trouble casing section. The Liner is made to a specified length and because of its unique “Flying W” profile it can be easily and compactly rolled onto a reel and transported by helicopter if necessary. The MonoBore Liner can be run and cemented in place using standard drill pipe. Its unique profile allows the Liner to be, 1.) stripped into the well through a special set of BOP Rams, and 2.) easily run to the desired position inside the existing casing. When positioned and expanded it provides improved protection against formation communication or contamination and becomes “Invisible” with respect to the vertical bore diameter of the casing allowing continued drilling without an unwanted reduction in the well bore diameter.
