Special Projects

Overview

Radoil has had a very diverse range of Special Projects but only a couple will be mentioned here. If you have any special requests just ask and we will be glad to discuss them with you.

Radoil has designed and built an Arctic Tundra Table. This system allows for year round drilling in the Arctic regardless of the freezing or thawing conditions. It provides a small footprint and is designed to contain all drips/runoff to minimize the impact on the tundra environment. It has an aluminum deck and steel legs to support the topside equipment and all necessary functions. Its modular construction provides functional diversity for equipment needs, liquid storage, personnel quarters and ingress and egress requirements. Radoil can design and manufacture the Arctic Tundra Table for your specific operational requirements.

Our Invisible MonoBore Liner can be run and set into a wellbore to isolate an unexpected pressure formation, or replace and/or repair a trouble casing section. The Liner is made to a specified length and can be transported and run from a reel. It can be run and cemented in place using standard drill pipe. Its profile allows the Liner to be stripped into the well through a special set of BOP Rams. It’s unique “Flying W” profile allows it to be easily run and positioned in the well. When positioned and expanded it provides improved protection against formation communication or contamination and becomes “Invisible” with respect to the vertical bore of the casing.
