Radoil’s Deepwell Reel provides
a means to quickly deploy a centrifugal pump off the deck of a jack-up rig to
bring seawater up for ballasting, fire prevention, engine cooling, and other rig
activities. They are based upon a flat ribbon style hose bundle for efficient
storage and operations. By using a flat hose bundle, both the conventional
Deepwell Tower and the alternative multiple reels are eliminated in favor of a
simple single hose system.
