COMPLETE SYSTEM:
Turnkey system which incorporates the reel and the
Deepwell Pumping system
SINGLE REEL SYSTEM:
Single reel handles the seawater flow, power supply,
and tension member.
RADAPAK:
Hose is a flat bundle of four 3” I.D. hoses (to
equal one 6” hose) or six 4” I.D. hoses (to equal one 10”)
RADAPAK WRAP:
The ribbon-like Radapak wraps on the reel like a
roll of stamps, rather than conventionally wrapping across the face of a reel.
The flat surface of the Radapak safely supports the loadings rather than having
heavily loaded hoses crossing each other on the reel.
LENGTH:
Variable hose length – up to 200’
BRAKES:
The unit is driven thru a worm gear box which will
not back drive, and is therefore a natural brake when the air motor stops. The
unit also has a mechanical locking pin for safety when personnel are doing any
maintenance.
RUNNING TIME:
Deepwell Pump can be lowered to operating position
by hydraulic motor within 5 minutes. The reel itself is powered by an air motor.
QUICK RESPONSE TIME:
The entire pumping system can be pulled, replaced,
and rerun within 30 minutes.
MANUAL OPERATION:
Optional hand wheel can be provided for manual
lowering or raising of the Deepwell Pump.
DEEPWELL PUMP DRIVE:
Pump can be electrically or hydraulically driven.
When hydraulically driven, the environmentally friendly potable Canola oil is
used.
BACKUP POWER SUPPLY:
When using hydraulic drive, the hydraulic pumping
system on Reel base can be used as a backup power supply for other rig
functions.
