Overview

Radoil’s specialty reels such as Bulk Loading Stations, Raw Water Reels, and Pre-Loading Reel Systems are extensions of the various spooling applications in the offshore industry. These reels allow safe material handling and environment protection.

Bulk Loading Stations consist of a combination of different size modular hose reel units to store, payout and retrieve the various hoses that are used for bulk transferring of different materials like bentonite, barite, cement, mud, chemicals, acid, diesel, potable water etc. that are used in day-to-day drilling applications.

Raw Water /Pre-Loading Reel Systems provide a safe and effective means of lowering a standard deepwell pump below the ocean surface to supply seawater to the rig. They do not require crane time and minimize the manpower traditionally used for these operations. These intrinsically safe small footprint lightweight systems replace the standard high maintenance, heavy, hazardous mini-tower / raw water tower delivery systems. And they increase safety, speed up pump deployment, decrease rig downtime, and decrease your overall operating costs.

These specialty reels assist in the loading and offloading of a variety of materials used in day-to-day drilling applications. Radoil also specializes in the design of safe and efficient environmentally friendly crude transfer / offloading stations for platforms, FPSO’s etc.
